Tulip season marks the official beginning of spring on our farm.  We harvest thousands of beautiful tulips, Darwin hybrids with extra large blooms to ruffled Doubles and crinkly-petaled Parrots.  Enjoy are a large bunch of our most exotic varieties.

Ranunculus and Peonies bloom in June.  We will send you a large bunch of either or it may be a large mixed bunch.  Growers choice, but I must tell you, we plant an amazing variety of ranunculus each spring.

What about peonies?  We have several hundred peony plants producing the much-loved blooms in shades of pink, burgundy, red and white.   A new peony garden has been planted in Fall of 2025.

When summer arrives Lisianthus is the Belle of the Ball!   This wonderful flower blooms late July and most of August.    Lisianthus has a amazing vase life and often last 2 to 3 weeks.  They come in array of lovely colors from soft pink and blushes to apricots, hot pinks, and deep purples.   This is one of our favorite flowers and we make sure that all our summer wrapped bouquets have a few stems of this amazing flower.

Dahlias bloom in September and come in every size, from large dinner-plates in which you can bury your face, to petite ball-shaped blooms.  Here at Alissa’s Flowers, we grow 100+ varieties, with colors ranging from whites, blushes, and pastels, brighter oranges, all the way to dark burgundies and almost black-reds.

For longest life, keep in a cool room, out of direct sunlight.  Allow flowers to drink flower food water for the first two days and then change the water daily.  Stems can be recut with every water change.
